
AT&T x Leagues Cup (Soccer)
Leagues Cup is a month-long tournament between clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Liga MX (the main soccer league in Mexico). For the 2024 competition, AT&T created a culturally relevant and bilingual campaign that suited both leagues and their fans. Story behind the creative: Paquito is a Mexican canary bird with the (proven) ability to tell fortunes and make game-winning predictions. In fact, this year his fame skyrocketed to the point where he required a manager. Big time bird, but not Big Bird. To represent him in all his media conferences and what not, we hired Abelardo Campuzano. The duo paired perfectly together and was a total hit with our audience! From social media to on-site experiences for fans, this campaign lived across multiple platforms.
